SS Oberscharführer, Eastern Front, 1943

Old Verlinden figure with some minor conversions - MP40 in place of a Panzerfaust and a replacement Kirin head. Painted entirely in artists' acrylics. This was the first model I ever painted using my Aztek airbrush, emulating Mike Good's technique that I'd read he'd used on the same figure.

The weathering is very realistic looking, so is the snow/mud combination on the pants. looks very grimy which brings the model to life. Excellent work.
