Zoanthrope (unfinished base)

This is my first Zoanthrope. Don't look the base, I'm waiting for GW's wet-effect to make something swampy. :) So it's not nearly finished yet. I was trying Menelker's painting method on the carapace. You tell me how did it work! :)

Looks pretty good. I the darker parts of the armor look good. I would suggest using a thinner brush for that last highlight. I would also thin down the paint some so you will not get that build up paint look. I have found a product called "flow aid" works well. It can be found in art stores in the paints section. I think Windsor Newton makes it. I would also put a little more highlight on the body to bring out the details. Keep up the good work, looking good.
