Fire Dragon Exarch GDUK2000 Finalist

This Mini was a finalist in the UK Golden Deamon 2000 competition and I'm quite happy with it. However there is still scope for improvement on the Firepike. I think it might have done better if there hadn't been a little transport damage to the helmet. (now repaired)

I am a little surprised this made a final for a GD UK, but hey, things like that happen. Over all a good mini, however, it could be improved so much with blending, instead of jumping right up to bright higlights.

Nice work, but a bit too... almost cartoony... for my tastes. Still worthy of a good mark though, the base does the job too

Re: SC's comment about NMM. I havn't started to try that yet, all the colours on here are mixes & blends. The Bone like colour was intended to reflect a bone like colour. The Metals on the Firepike are just that,Metals from GW's range of paints with mixed in inks and dark brown paints.
