Historical Recreationist Sven- Zombie Hunter
This figure is me in my SCA armour and armed with a modern day machette. my 'Head' Sadly that looks VERY MUCH like me- yup I have a big head! Out of 50 guys in our household only one other fellow has a head as big as mine (which makes borrowing a helmet a real pain). In any case I went with the helmet off since they tend to look kind of like football masks what with the bars across them. After this figure is cast I will be sculpting a little bandana on my copy (sunstroke is a killer for us bald guys lol) My armor although we are a viking household I eventually went with a lorrica to better protect my ribs. My actual armour has lobster plates across the butt (because it hurts to get wacked there) but I left it off the mini as I wanted to go with a 'lighter' look Shield notes: The guard that protects the left hand is a hockey face mask. Heater hose edges the shield with paracord bindings. The best way to hold a sheild is slightly angled up- as it lets you raise or drop your fist and use the edge of the shield to catch the enemy's attack. Pants Under the baggy pants are a fully articulating set of durable plastic knee cops with puckboard lames- I know you cant really see them due to the fabric but it is why the figure appears to have thick legs- because we have heavily padded our leg armor under the plastic lol Boots Desert boots
