Harbinger of the North, Total Testosterone Entry

This is my favourite Harbinger magazine mini to date, and one I think is a pretty hunky hunk of metal, so when Wyrd Games decided to sponser a Total Testosterone contest, I decided to try painting this guy up. The wolf is a Reaper mini, from a pack of three wolves. I had to shrink the pics and take out a few of the views I had posted in the TT contest, to get it down to Cool Mini size requirements. Painting on this was my longest yet, 30 hours for the figure and base, and another 5 or so for the wolf. This was my first try at cork base, and I can see why everyone has such fun with them. I also tried a different technique (for me) with the NMM, glazing down the shadows with loads of thin coats. I'd love some feedback on how that looks.

Great mini, I like the fur at the back of that guy and the fur of that wolf very much. Gems look fantastic and the nmm turns out well too. I just think the skin had could be darker in the crevices but that's just a small point of criticism.
