PLEASE READ BEFORE VOTING!!! This was a commission from my 4 and 1/2 year old niece! She shocked me by asking me to paint something for her for her birthday... She picked the basic color scheme so please don't ask about the gold cloak...and actually, I think it turned out OK. Her eyes are glowing white with power as she prepares to cast a spell! Please don't deduct for basing, she did not tell me how she wants it based yet! I'm VERY happy with this piece, it's my first really really tiny model, and also my first human ever painted. I used about 6 colors on her face to make it look like she was even wearing a little blush! Please check out her exposed face carefully :D

Honestly, I think the color scheme is pretty well balanced...but better pic with less noise will help :)

Yeah, sorry about the colors, but when an almost 5 year old is picking them, you might get some odd combos!! :D I'm proud becasue I think even with the odd colors it came out pretty good!

Okay the colour scheme is not my taste but you have already explained it. Yes the face looks very good. Great skintones. I think the hair looks good too. The painting looks clean and well but the colour of the gem and the red together with the light blue...uhh. Okay it was a commission so will close my eyes at least one of it. :-)
