Passionate painter, if a solitary practitioner. I think of our shared interest in miniature painting as art. I enjoy the world-making, imagination, and stories in which so many figures are found. Variety is important to me, in the figures, artistic techniques I examine and practice, and the imaginary settings. I paint to be present in those moments at the desk, enjoying the healthy and creative occupation of mind and hands. It's been a pleasure to learn and improve, little by little. Though I've only taken a few classes, I've also enjoyed all the fellow painters I had a chance to meet.
