An on-again-off-again painter, I've been painting since about 1995. It can be a couple of years between regular painting outlets though, as it's usually a social thing for me as well. Life is sometimes just too madly busy to be regularly painting.

I greatly enjoy doing unexpected, and out-of mythos things with the figures, and rarely stick to the 'book'. It's a really great outlet in amongst my other creative adventures.
