On this page we show our lates works in painting miniatures and some other stuff.
Jay's Wargeme Painting(TM) is a semi professional Paint Service for your miniatures, Terrain and Scenerie. Most of all our goal is to paint complete playable armys but Squads and some Single Miniatures from all kind of game systems like Warhammer, Flames of War, Bolt Action to Napoleonic and Warhammer 40k. Also we offer a different scale painting which means we start on 15mm and go up to 28/32 mm.
So about us:
Me, Michael called JayCan has started painting modells in the early 80s. I started with the normal modell stuff like Planes from Revell and Tanks and Toy soldiers from Dragon and Tamiya in the 1/35 scale.
Over the years doing those things i learned alot about weathering technics which i use today also on Fantasy and Sience Ficten and historical Miniatures for sure. I always had a look for some realism.
In the 90s then i started to play Warhammer and so my heart felt into this kinda stuff with all its fantastic Miniatures and of course the wargaming itself.
I painted several armys for myself and played alot in those years.
In the Year 2002 my wife and me opened a Tabletop Store in Austria as my wife also was addicted to those fantastic miniatures and painting. In our Store we offered beside the normal collection of Games Workshop Products also some of the extra niche Systems like Confrontation, Lord of the Rings and had several other Manufacturers in stock like Wargames Foundry or Reaper. Our big Goal was that we had beside the normal Shop a gaming Area in the upper part of the store where permanently 8 Gaming Tables with Terrain were available to play when ever you want - so called come and play.
After 3 Years i left our own store and started to work for Games Workshop themselves and was Store Manager of the Austrian Flagshipstore in Vienna for nearly 5 years. In thos times i painted hundreds of miniatures for the cabinets, from single Modells up to several armys and claimed the highest Standard of Cabinets in the German GW Store League.
Beside managing the store i always was part of the Golden Deamon Team on the german Games Day and had the honour to meet loads of big painters like "Goatman" GeOrc, Ben Komets and many many more and caused on my good eye i always was part of the inner circle who choose the finalists and also sat beside the final decissions as neutral part of opinion
In the last couple of years after i left Games Workshop i painted privatly for myself to get my skills growing.
So finally we, my wife and me, started the Jay`s Wargame Painting(TM) paintservice in september 2012 as it is the big thing for me to paint miniatures in high Tabletop Standards and offer this painting to customers.
My Dream about that is, that everywhere on planet earth each army on a Gaming table is completely painted...i dont like silver fishes or plastic grey soldiers as they have no soul.
