I´ve recently moved into a house with my wife and child, and now I´m looking for something to hang on my (our
) walls.
We have a chagall reproduction (one of his "love" works - done almost entirely in red)and 2 small green acidetched prints of frogs. This is nowhere near enough, so I figured I would find something online that would be nice to have framed on the wall.
I found these 3:
All done by Leslie Ragan.
Now I´m not a train freak, but I thought that they were brilliant and really oozes power, dynamics, speed, and so on - I just like the vibe they give. Also I really the art deco style of the drawings. Also I figured they would be a good contrast to the more mello stuff we allready had hanging on the walls
I showed them to my wife who promptly said : I don´t want trains in my living room - that´s silly!"
:disapointed::weep:
so now what to do - do any of you know of any art in the same vein - art deco with a powerful atmosphere who would be suitable to hang in a very.... grounded womans living room?
