OLD Kommando nob? (orks, 40k)

I've recently gotten my hands on a load of old ork kommando mini's.

I'm considering making a unit of 'em, so I have one unit of old, one of last edition (converted boys) and one unit of the new komandos, but this brings up the question;

I've never seen a kommando nob for the old ones, does it even exist?

I want to say yes and that he had a beret, but I'll check that before I say for definite.

Ah! Found the buggers, couldn't find the codex, but did find the '97 annual, 4th column, 2nd and 3rd line

I don't think those are kommando nobs, just regular blood axe bosses. I always thought that the one labeled "2" was the nob (or blood axe kommando kaptin). I used it as such anyway as it looked bossy and it has a bionic eye which IIRC was a wargear back the as well.

I think you are right about the bionic eye, +1 to WS I think it was. Other then that, I can't find hide nor hair nor squig of a specific bloodaxe Nob.

Those two Bloodaxe bosses are the cream of that crop. The one with the axe is a great model

I've got one of those Stormboy drillbosses from the first page. I think it has a lug for the rokkit pack on his back but it's nothing a backpack wouldn't cover. PM me if you fancy playing swapsies or whatever.
