Trouble with login

I don't know if this is just the way CMON is set up now but over the last few months while I am logged into the forums I'm not logged into the gallery portion of the site.

When I do log into the galleries the session expires very quickly - even in a single day I might have to log in again. Any way to log in and stay logged in, like on the forums?

And to top it all off just the last couple of days I can't log into the galleries at all. I know I'm using the right password but it won't accept it.

What I've found is that I can browse the gallery logged in, but if I try to go to an artist page (http blahblah /artist/Pegazus) it states I'm not logged in. I can go to Browse Gallery, and I'm shown as logged in.

Very strange things happening with that page.

I'll ask the obvious Question: You have flushed all Caches and Cookies?

In order for you to consistently login in both sections, you have to click "Remember Me" if you happen to login via the forums. If you login through the CMS you will be fine. However, if you already have a login session in the forums logout first.

Thanks! That's what finally worked for me. It'd forget the main site, but not the forums.

This did the trick - I stay logged in on both parts of the site now, ta!

As far as this goes:
