I was wondering if those of you who have had experience with these guys know if they are able to process digital orders and not just those done by "ordinary" snail mail. I've got an order for a mini and one of their plinths was requested. I guess the good old fashioned way isn't a real problem, I'm just hoping I'll be able to have less time and hands to worry about through the order.

I've sent them an inquiry but I thought I'd ask here as well.

Cheers peeps!

I ordered through email last time without problem.

Granddad!
I notice it says on there website "..ordering couldn't be simpler..." ???
Obviously it could, they could have a shopping basket to put stuff seeing how they've got the Paypal facility there already, seems a bit backward

My thoughts exactly! It was quite a few years ago that the filling out of forms and sending them through snail mail was considered simple. :)

PS. "Simply fill in the orderform and post it to the address below. Remember to include your payment!" :)

IIRC, it's an order of 5-6 40-50mm bases and one custome size.
THe order went very smoothly.

Sounds lovely, I believe my order will be a lot smaller, at least my first one but it feels good to know they do small orders as well. Their order form is quite intimidating.

Well, I made the order, there was no fuss at all and it went incredibly smooth. I made the order per email, paid through paypal and not even a week passed before I got the stuff. I must say I really, really like both their customer service and their bases, the bases look extremely classy for their price. I'm very happy with this order and will definitely be a returning customer.

Generul: Now there's a company that goes to the bookmarks section!

Ollie: That company had very lovely bases as well! I guess I'll have to force some Brit to buy some for me later on. :D

Nah, they state almost first thing on their order page that they can't take orders from outside the UK for the moment.

paint them black, totaly retro and cheap as chips :D
Yep, they don't get much cheaper than that! A few basemakers sell unfinished bases in one or two styles but they're still nothing like as inexpensive. Even with shipping about doubling the cost for a single order the price per piece is still excellent.

Previous thread that mentions them here for a little more detail, in case anyone is thinking of getting any.

Bugger. Somehow i missed that. If you know of anyone who goes to any of the model shows over here they are at alot of the bigger ones.
