Really liked the heavy, 'realistic' look of this mini. It surprised me and turned out to not as hard to paint as I had expected.

Hey Shawn, did you find the metal on your mini really, really soft? Mine seemed a lot closer to lead than pewter and I don't remember the other one's I assembled being that soft. Just wondering.

No, it seemed pretty normal to me.

The detail was great. Real clean casting.

LOL....I've almost given up taking pictures of the miniatures I paint. I can never get the flipping camera to 'see' what I see. Here's the best pic I have of a few of them:

Supervike: try taking squad photos from farther away, as the depth of field in that photo is very narrow. IANAP but I think very close up photos have almost zero DoF. Also, softer light?

I bet they're decals (not to disparage vike's freehand skills)... maybe from Flames of War?

They are most certainly Decals...and yes, I believe they were made for Flames of War...Got them from Armorcast.

I should probably just take a photo class and figure it out...
