@Shawn I think that I understand maybe 1 of every 10 words that the singer in Loudness the singing. But boy do they have the sound just right!

It aint metal if you can tell what they are saying!! I liked most of Loudness because they had the real ballsy heavy sound, polished but not too polished.

Here's one I've liked for a long time. To me, this represents one of the things that much of metal now days has lost - soaring guitars that are coherent. To me, in pursuit of HEAVYNESS and speed, much of todays metal has lost a lot.

Have to agree with this. Although some of it sounds cool, just really isn't my cup of tea.

I've recently discovered the BONEYARD on Sirius Satelitte radio. A very fine mix of mostly 'metalish' songs.

That's in heavy rotation with me, along with the BB King's Bluesville, Music from the 1940's, and BlueGrass....I think I have a weird mix of tastes.

*stands up* Hello, I am TBS, and I am hairy metal scum *sits down*

I can't be arsed listing everything I listen to really, goes past the metal genre. Can't beat hanging out in rock bars and the occasional metal club though. Good times, good times...
