help me out here.... just how valuable is a world war 2 sniper scope? its a No32 mkII from 1944 and is for a lee enfield rifle? what i've found so far is not very helpful:confused2:

Find an auction room that specializes in such items, you will get a higher price than the average.

I read that their are fakes out there now too, not just reproductions. I'm not saying yours is a fake but if you can get an arms dealer to verify that it is real so you can have paperwork it may help with your final price. Of course if you have the original rifle to matchup with the scope you are looking at big $$$$

didnt know about the fakes. apparently the chinese have started to reproduce these with original serial No's. This particular sight came into my possesion about ten years ago. didnt know about the rifle thing cheers uglybug.

You probably know this already but definately, absolutely DO NOT clean it up. It goes for MUCH MUCH more in it's original condition. Wipe the dust off but other than that leave it be.
