Looking good Trys :good:

How do you put the mini down given how small the handle of the drill is? Lay the model on it's side on a lint-free cloth? What do you do when it's drying?

Cheers, B.

In the case of the horse, yeah, I have some soft cotton like padding to lay it on. When I was working on Kisa, I have a bunch of rare earth magnets I stuck the drill to. Though I had to be careful, as Elly knows, because if I just let the magnets take over Kisa liked to lose an arm haha...

Haha thanks Cass. I'll be bringing your maximini to show (off) lol.

Oh - and Celeborn is either going to be my greatest triumph, or a smouldering ruin. Have you seen all the patterning on his robes and stuff!?

Well I was hoping to get some painting done tonight, but I'm too angry at FedEx to risk messing something up.

A delivery window of 7am to 8pm is bad enough, but to decide, at 7pm, to not deliver because of a "local weather delay"? I called FedEx, they were no help at all. Said rain wouldn't stop them, it had to be something serious. Guess what - it hasn't rained all day, and it's not even that cloudy. Local weather my ass.

ARGH. I HATE FEDEX.

Yes!

Anyways, I've calmed down now. I will actually get some painting done, and treat you all to some pics before I retire for the night.

Aw man, that sucks Trys. At least you haven't had a rural route carrier mark a $400 resin as delivered but carry it around in the trunk of her car for three days. I nearly shot someone over that one. But that's what made me get the personal mailbox. That and watching the UPS chuck one of my small boxes like it was a slow pitch softball from the end of the driveway to my porch. He saw me coming out the door. I never seen anyone move so fast to get back in their box truck.

Hang in there - hopefully it will be there tomorrow.

Oh - and the promised pic. Too bad the sculpt has a lazy eye.

I wish I had the kind of guts it takes to do something like that in TEXAS! Jeez. Takes a real man to do that in a state where they hand out 5 guns with every birth certificate. ;) That is not a knok at Texas, I like that approach!

Anyway, Trys, that is looking great, can't wait to see it in Chicago! And that Marine is HUGE! Please bring it with you.
