As far as I know there is no height limit. It is just the 25mm base. Maybe build it up, and out, like this:

thats a lot of coverage your gonna need there trys airbrush required possibly. cant help thimking that you should have let me put more blingage on the shins, suppose its your commission you wanted it as tru to the original n all that. good luck at the competition...oh and get yer arse in gear when you get back i want to see multiple large scale painting projects

This effect is what I was referring to earlier in my thread Trys. It's hard to do on a small mini without going over the top. But you did a great job on this part.
