i like the OSL, and the mottled skin, a lot...
there are a few spotty places with the purple wash on the armour plates on his back, but that is more an issue of the camera picking up things the eye normally wouldn't...
i bet he looks even better in hand...

i know from experience that it is an honour, just as much as it is a stress, to try and impress Mike

p.s.: we had a 6 foot swell arrive last night...
caught some great waves on my Firewire Quadraflex this morning (it's like the Ferrari Enzo of surfboards)...
can't wait to get up and do it all again in a few hour...
the water is about 80 degrees, by the way...

@ jah. My last surf trip was knackering. a year away kills that surf fitness. I'm still gonna come see you as well (talk talk talk)

yeah, the day Mike hired me, i was going, "oh shit, what do i do now!?", and kept saying the same thing for the next three years...
i was out of the water for 1 & 1/2 years before i got back to Mexico...
it took me about 6 months of surfing daily before i stopped waking up in pain...
even now, if i surf an extra session in the afternoon i know i won't be getting any fine detail painting done...
my arms are just too rubbery...
injuries from the reef don't help either, it's been a rough ten months earning my scars and respect...
luckily, there are always moldlines to file or other easy prep work to get done...
