FIMO users - handy tip

Been doing some sculpting with FIMO lately and one thing I've always found difficult is getting new parts to stick to a piece that's already baked. To make sure the parts I had put on stayed on I sprayed the baked piece with an engine paint, hoping it would go into the cracks and 'glue' them on. It seems to do this but the real thing I found was that when I went to add more FIMO parts they stuck to the paint FAR BETTER than the areas without.

Hope this helps. :)

nice one shawn. have you tried vaseline as well? sounds silly as you'd think it would have the opp effect, but it really helps weld it to the piece

Would there be issues with the Vaseline getting trapped in areas? Or just general running down the figure?
