Hello indeed,

OK, I might be a dad currently bursting with pride, but dang my kid is cool.

Today my mother had thrown a private party, she had playing for said party Thane Dunn & The Cadillac Kings (one of the top Elvis impersonators in the world). I had arranged a couple months ago that my boy could play a song with the band for his Grandmother. Well that day was today, completely unrehearsed with the band (thus his one flub at the beginning). They liked him so much he has an invitation to come play with them on stage for a song this January.

Ha, just forked out $2000 I don't have on a drum kit for the kid. That's a heck of a lot of minis I could have had.

He paints minis too, just started his space marines. He's not to bad for a 10 year old just starting, but not a natural as I feel his drumming skills are.

Now if only I knew some record producers to put him in front of.
