This is a mini ive had painted for a while and finally decided to upload as i had a play with my girlfriends new camera and managed to take some photos that were better than my usual camera phone jobbies lol.
Basically I wanted to do a take on the GW Ultramarines Sergeant Chronos character but for a different space marine chapter, it always bothered me (despite not actually playing the game) that being a tank commander, the only time you would see this model on the table was after the tank hed been drivinbg had been blown to hell, and the model was absolutely pristine, and so alot of people painted it all nice and shiney. So i decided to attempt to put together someone who looked a bit more like they'd just crawled from the wreckage of a tank lol.
Trouble is, Ive never painted my armour with much battle damage so this is very new to me, I found it escpecially hard where highlights were concerned where I wanted to scuff up the edges. So Id quite like some opinions and feedback on where Im headed and what I could change to improve my technique if any of you would be so kind
As Id quite like to start adding more "character" to more future projects, hell it might even help to break up large areas of my crap blending haha
