Wish they told us what the home version would cost, complete with tech support, lol. Now do the paint ball guns shoot you only when you are getting hit by enemy fire or when the enemy is shooting at you?
Im afraid to go buy this game cause I won't pick up a paintbrush again for 3 months at least.
Hmm xbox or pc?

I think it could be improved

need some fans, to represent air flow. I think you got shot regardless but don't know for sure.

This ones a lot more frantic than previous versions.

@Freak - I wish I could afford a new PC gaming rig.....only bought one 4 years ago top of the range.....now it's doesn't run jack. My only other probelm with a buy a PC is that they don't make many PC games that are just ported from the consoles and not using the power the PC has.

And this sums up a big part of why gaming has kind of cooled for me. Now that I have a real life to pay for I can't remotely justify trying to keep up with the ridiculous hardware reqs that most of the hot new games have. Hell I could barely run "Half Life 2 episode 2" on medium graphics mode. Forget Team Fortress 2, it's a slideshow. Anyway not FPSing for hours gives me more family and painting time...

I've played the BF series since they came out. How many other folks here are into it. Has anyone played BF3? How monstrous is the sys requirments?

Not that bad, tbh I find mine works better on a large 64 player map on high settings that it did on bfbc2 on medium. Weird

I'd say and only having played it for a short while is the frostbite 2 engine and the destructibility of scenery............oh and you get your arse shot off a lot easier (i find anyway)

Some Maps are slightly bigger but all packed with scenery

Well I never played bf2, only bfbc2. The maps are much bigger, you get damaged by shrapnel, you can go prone, you get your upgrades for each weapon individually, it is bloody beautiful
