Have started work on a studio scale McQuarrie concept X-Wing that is going to be a thing of beauty when it's done :)

Great work, I could see myself running around the room viper in hand swirling and swaying and ....... ahem ... as you were :)

The more I look at that, the more ace it exudes. I wouldnt really consider myself a "spaceship" kinda guy at all, but nonetheless, I find that mini pressing buttons I didnt even know I had...

Lovely work.... Those Vipers bring out the little boy in all of us that loves speed, space and zzzzoooooommmmm

Although i like the finished version of the x-wing MUCH better (still my all time fave non transforming star fighter), it is going to be interesting to see the concept one...

Now go make a vip thread...

1/72 Falcon has been in the to-do pile for several years. I occasionally get the bottle to open the box, but after seeing what's inside I soil myself slightly and think better of it.

This McQuarrie X should be stunning when it's done - it's bigger than the 1/72 Falcon. I've got no more space, so no idea where I'm going to put it...

I know the lack of space problem all too well. I have so many different valkyries from macross standing/sitting/hanging all over the appartment, i am thinking about putting a shelf in the loo aswell.

Nope, that one's straight out of the packet. I occasionally dip them in Klear, but am leaning towards ditching clear parts altogether. Too many reflections on photos :)

We don't know, he ran off. Left scuff marks and a bit of a trail though...

Awesome job, impressively realistic. I actually like the insane sheen on the canopy, it offsets the rest of it nicely. I did notice a Munkie reflection (I think) in the arial views after it was pointed out =P
Also pined a little inside for the old school BSG Viper design and had a little lament.
