Whoops, late a bit! Fallout universe diorama.

In a post-nuclear world a living being, who can drive a car, is worth as much, as a car itself. So, those raiders definitely will forgive the driver girl, even though they waited for her to arrive and pick the loot for the last three damned days, in the desert, with all that dust, ghouls and other raiders around. And the girl knows it well. Whoops, guys, sorry, took a wrong turn again!


This is my last Fallout vinette for this year, looks like i tired enough of this universe to do my other projects =)

cracked earth happened accidentaly, while i dried the modelling putty =) but it fit the scene quite well. small cracks made with chocolate drink powder, mixed w PVA

Great stuff! I love how you always manage to get so much detail into the faces. They never fail to convey the emotions of the scene. Dont abandon the fallout universe entirely though, its still got a lot of life yet i think ;) Or maybe with Skyrim you could go fantasy? :)

thanks, everyone.
when i`ll return to fallout, it will be a 28 mm infinity figures and 1:43 cars - i have a loads of those cars with different grades of damage, must do something with them). And, of course, it will be a Fantasy vacation -tons of 54mm fantasy figures are in my hands now, waiting for paint - reaper, kingdom death, andrea...

Nice one! Really cool diorama! Very nice weathering overall. I think the skin is too flat though. Try overall making small and reflective highlights and small shadows, microdetail, that give shape and form to for example the faces.

*for those not understanding my reference, Nakatan did a brilliant, and highly controversial diorama called "alien contact" which polarized many of our members. Do yourself a favor and go browse Nakatan's gallery. Amazing stuff, as I feel the diorama and story telling are the utmost pinnacle of the miniature hobby.
