Hope you had a good 33rd b'day mate, I cant get over the variation of colours in the skintone. How many glazes and how many colours did you use for it?

as for the skin, this is the colours used...
skin painting:
basecoat: ... fortress grey GW fondation colour
highlight: vallejo london grey, vallejo stone grey. white.
shading: vallejo black red, GW purple, GW scab red, GW scaly green (for darkest parts). black.
for skin variations: GW scab red, vallejo mahogny, GW scorched brown, GW burbonic brown. vallejo grey-green. some other colours i dont even remember lol

glazes used: onehundredmillions. something like that. everything except basecolour and edge highlight is painted using glazes.

But apparently, it's just the right time to get ill everywhere. I've got the same story you have/had since this morning, a friend of mine last week, and a collegue last week-end...

okay some minor updates, musician is done and so is the 'body' of skellie no4. unfortunately the pictures turned out less than awesome (glossy black bg, nice choice...duh!) so have to get some better of that one. here is some of the finished guy anyway...

added some nice etched stuff on the upcomming shield. tiny shit indeed!

now, off to find some freehand inspiration

I agree, the dark tones on the mini seem to be good lookin, y'know, crappy pictures aside. ^^
