Came across this artist after seeing a docu on TV. He lost both his arms at the age of four in an accident. Undeterred by his handicap, he started painting with his feet to support his sick father when he was twelve years old. Later he taught himself to paint with his mouth too. He sold his paintings on the street and at first, people bought them out of pity. These days, his paintings are considered collector’s items an are valuable.

An amazing man.

My goodness, that is impressive.

Some people just have talent oozing out of them, and nothing will stop them from using it.

That is truly wonderful :)

I like the realism of the painting, also the way it is completed by suggestion in the mind.

He must have some determination.

regardless of how he painted them, those are lovely pictures. I wish I could paint half as well as that. I can (kinda) do minis, but have always been absolutely dreadful at 2D artwork. I have a huge amount of respect for anybody that can paint or draw well. When you factor in the loss of his arms - well, it goes from respect to humbling, really.
