Posting painted Minis/units HELP

Hi All

I've decided to be ruthless and cut down the number of armies and minis in general that I have, and would like some assistance on the methods people use to send their miniatures/units to bidders on Ebay. I have some well painted minis that I would like to sell on, but have no idea as to the best way of shipping them, in terms of cost and the protection of the models.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated

Foam and bubble wrap are great to package items. Insurance tends to be expensive unless you are shipping hundreds of dollars worth of goods. Tracking offers you some protection versus evil buyers (but they tend to be rare).
