A lot happier this time. Had the Fstop at 10. I used an 11" light tent and 2 work lamps with 100w soft white bulbs. I want to get 1 more and replace the bulbs with daylight bulbs too.

Then in PS6 I used the auto adjust on levels, auto color, auto contrast, then lowered the vibrance by about 12 poins.

the sword is still a bit blurry, and I think it could be a bit brighter. Any tips?

Very clean painting with bright colours that stand out. Sometimes the details can blur together with these minis but you have really thought about the colours and outlines to stop this.
The sword looks good, just's needs the odd white speck/dot of light reflection to make it pop out.
Real good work :)

These can work well but I'd recommend trying to work though getting the same kind of improvement manually. Auto Levels for example can negatively affect many images if they don't have a good black somewhere and any spots white enough.

It's not as daunting as it sounds if you're not a heavy user of Photoshop, once you have a lighting setup you're happy with your adjustments will be very similar from one photo to the next (sometimes exactly the same) so you can just drag over the adjustment layers from one file to the next, instantly applying them (alternatively, save settings so you can load them up each time).

I'll post some specific adjustment tips for you later if you like.

If you have any specific adjustment tips I'm more than happy to try them. I'm a pretty frequent photoshop user so it shouldn't be too difficul for me. This is just my first foray into photo editing.
