Mierce (ne banelegions) has released photos of several new minis, include this beauty!

Compared to the sad Reaper effort, this one ticks all the boxes for me.

Of course, you may Love the Reaper version, or indeed, if you have your head screwed on backwards, the old RAFM one...!

But this one is for me, preordered already!

It's a nice model, no argument there. The only issue is the company that makes it. I'm still waiting for models I ordered in October (via maelstrom). After the royal shafting everyone got at the hands of their parent company, I'm treating mierce with extreme suspicion, at least until they send me the stuff they owe me. After that, I'll still be suspicious, just less so.

Ah yes, I see this on all the mini sites.
As I stated on Dakka Dakka:
I personally have not had any issue with Maelstrom Games, in fact I benefired form their 40% off sale with a number of bargains.
I have on three occasions asked them to replace malformed parts, and in each case received said part promptly and with much apologising.
And for anyone still awaiting delivery, you should be encouraging purchases form them, not discouraging!
The more sales Eye and Mierce make, the more likely they are to be able to fulfil outstanding orders.
But trying to drive them into the ground because of some bad decisions isn't going to benefit anyone.

my apologies - my earlier post didn't come across as intended. I actually really like the Banelegions line, and I honestly hope Mierce do well. I think the models are nice and different from other lines, and, with very few exceptions, sculpted to an extremely high standard. I wasn't aware you were familiar with the maelstrom-mierce connection (but now I look again I realise I have seen you around on the forums, both here and on dakkadakka). I'm genuinely concerned as to the legitimacy of mierce, as after contacting them many, many times and being told many, many times that they would send my minis to me, I still have nothing. It just smells of BS to me, and is sufficiently similar to the maelstrom situation (we're just moving warehouse, honest!) that I personally am not about to buy anything else from them (despite really wanting to, based off the sculpts) until they pony up what I'm owed. Then, I'll think about it. I was just passing on that sense of wariness to what I perceived as someone who may have been unfamiliar with (what I see as) the risks involved.

So...pyramid schemes are cool...
