I've never actually kept up with one of these, but new years resolutions and whatnot...yadda yadda. So I've resolved to paint one tryanid a day and since last week I have totally kept up with my promise to myself! They aren't the best standard, but im going for upper quality gaming. So to prevent you all from being tired of seen my post Ill put up 5 gants at a time (got 40+ to paint) let me know what yoiu think!

pictures were taken using my camera phone!

Pretty good. If you highlight them even more = win

Agree with Simeon. Your colors look good and they will make a terrifying army.

Might also want to get additional lighting when taking the photos as they are coming out kind of dark.

Me to i find them to dark , And the base not help ( look the same as the figs ) So i suggest you to dry brush yours base with a brighter colors , or to make them more like desert base yellow-brown ( you have a volcanic base looking )
i think it would be good in that way , but if you don't want to change ( it is your taste after all) highlight the skin .
hope I have help you .

May I recommend you to clean away mould lines before painting. Seeing mould lines takes away a lot no matter how nicely painted a mini is, in my opinion.

Good luck with the rest. Like the dark gritty tone, and in my opinion more highlighting would take away from that feel and is not preferable.

More Wips! 4 Gants, 1 warrior and 1 "prime" (2nd ed Hive tyrant)
Did a little bit of converting on the prime including headplate sculpting, and kitbashing. I think im settled on a greyish brown base with a tuft. The gants have different bases because i was taking ya'lls opinions into consideration and seeing what looks good. Let me know what you think

Doom Of Malan'tai and Mycetic spore!
Obviously the Doom is still wip and as for the spore that was my first attempt with an airbrush (grad present) Let me know what you think!
