It may be something unrecognised to Americans but in general terms Richard III is regarded very poorly in Britain.

Read an article about how they found him, dug him up and now are going to bury him with full honors befitting a king. Apparently it was upsetting a lot of people since the guy was such a tool when he was alive. Has that changed any, or are they still going to bury him with honors?
Well he WAS the last of the Plantaganet Dynasty, and he was a Crowned King so yes he should get stuck underground with a little bit of ceremony.
BUT we also need to do the same for LADY JANE GREY, accepted as a Queen, until Bloody Mary spat her dummy out and took over.
(Ah British Royal history so full if blood and bastards).

Do they know where she is? And as an aside, I watched a piece by one of the Pythons where he went into a lot about Richard that is solely based on Shakespeare's play - and the historical record is actually much kinder than the popular one. Course, to be a king you do have to be a bit of a bastard . . .
