Rather than spending more time on her today (as I've not decided what else I'm going to do yet) I've been playing with a base to keep things fresh for me. So far it's only base coated, nothing more. I'm going to be adding a few little bits towards the end that I hope transforms it from a street into a tiny story (fingers crossed).

Here's the fruits of my painting efforts over the weekend. I'd say pretty much everything is wip at the moment, but it's coming together if nothing but a little unusual colours for a zombie.

Things are progressing, but wow these large models are unforgiving in the blends. The photos are improving but still too blue - the shadows are still just shadow grey rather than regal blue the pics suggest. I need to rethink how I'm taking the snaps.

Sheer effect on the tiny lady looks great. Must be a challenge to paint something so small.
That zombie looks like a friend of mine which is a bit worrying

Well I must admit I'm struggling with this fat dead dude. Struggling to enjoy painting him, struggling to get hm looking good and struggling to get the pictures looking right. I guess that's how it goes sometimes. His trousers have little more than a base coat and he looks odd at the moment as he's too clean - once he's painted he's getting dirty and bloodied up.

I have to say overall those are some of the oddest color choices i have ever seen BUT you have done them extremely well and they play out so cheers. Great job and i can't wait to see more.

yeah... suddenly colors went banana. i dig it! especially that shoe, very striking (...i still cant believe people actually wear such shoes...)
