Thoughts and such for a fan site.

There are several fan sites that make the games they support eve3n more enjoyable. I'd like to help with something for Zombicide. I have registered a domain and also received permission from Guillotine Games.

Here is my only concern - me. I have enough health issues my employer effectively retired me. I do not have the stamina or the ability for creative thought that I had before being struck by my second autoimmune illness. (Crohn's is my first, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is the second.) Don't worry about me though, I am good with the unexpected turn of events and am enjoying the new friends I have met.

As such, I am asking for this to be a community effort. To get this rolling, what should the site include?
- I would like to see a Zombicide Wiki.
- A way to post up scenarios and have them rated by registered users.
- A forum with sections for
- * Rules questions,
- * Painting tips
- * Show off painted minis
- * Discussing
- * +scenario building,
- * +character creation,
- * + ~finding, converting minis for created characters.
- * +custom zombies,
- * +other things that are using the creative backbone of this game.
- * Tactics for scenarios

What would you like to see and how could you help bring this to be?

I would suggest that showing off painted figures and painting tips be separate forums sections. I'll try to come up with more ideas later. I am a programmer, so I might be able to help with the site itself. What are you planning on having it written in? Does anything exist yet at the domain?

This is a great idea.

Having, as you know, Crohn's myself, I'm going to be limited in how much effort I could put into helping with it, but I'd certainly be an active member of the site, particularly in the rules questions section, and would be happy to help in any other way that I can manage.

Not yet, I thought getting an idea of what is wanted would help in the selection of hosting.

Haha, i worked it out and made it here, Youve prettey much summed up everything, but Never Forget the Power of the House Rules, youve said about custom survivor help, how about somewhere for custom zombie types> i have my behemoths that spawn instead of second Abomb for Example, you just need things other places dont have,
as for helpfullness, im happy i managed to sign up here, constructoin wise im no help, but once its up and running ill do what ever i can, iv no idea what but i will do what i can. even if its somthing mudane like wrighting stuff up to go on there or whatever

Hello all! new to forums and Zombicide but madly in love with both! I am a graphic designer and would gladly participate in any artwork needed for the site. Sadly I'm not programer savvy but will help in any way i can.

Exactly!!! Share and share alike! That's precisely what I meant. Even tho the actual site has great scenarios and card templates. A place where we can put all our pdf and psd files and so forth.

thats the sort of area we would have for customs i think, half the funs with them is sharing/ showing off after all

How about a section for ideas to the creators/ designers that has to get approved by the rest of the community like a poll section? Then when said poll is done we submit to be put into future expansions/goodies and so forth. Hopefully we might be taken more seriously since we are the "official" Fan Site opposed to random requests.

Long story short the more attention they get from die hard fans, the more apt they are to push for more funding and growing. correct?
