Thoughts and such for a fan site.

I have heard back from a couple of the people who run fan sites and have started asking hosting services lots of questions. So far, HostGator offers the most for the lowest price. If you know of any others, I'll gladly look them over.

Has anyone had experience setting up and running a wiki? I set one up a long time ago but my memory is like Swiss cheese. The same for a forum, setting up and administrating I mean. The last time I set one up was for the parents running my oldest son's after-prom. It was super bare bones!

- * +other things that are using the creative backbone of this game.

Under this heading:
- custom tiles.
- custom equipment.
- custom tokens.
- custom spawn cards.
- custom character sheets and player aids.

Also:
- game component storage solutions.
- general game component tips (like how to prevent warping of boards, sealing board/token edges, item/spawn/wound/character card protection (sleeves)).

As far as hosting goes, hostgator is pretty darn good.

I'd love to keep the community I feel that we have built up with the Kickstarter. I would gladly help with making content for the site. Custom characters, paint guides, editing a wiki if we have one. I can program in multiple languages, but I only know basic HTML, no PHP/Ruby/whatever. I will gladly do graphics though, as I am a hobby artist and know my way around Photoshop when it comes to drawing and painting.

I have paid for the hosting and added the name server information so the site should be visible sometime within the next 48 hours. (As of this posting, it has already been five.)

Does anyone have experience with TikiWiki? It is already set up on the site and I'd like to use it for the Zombicide Wiki and also for a way to store and rate scenarios.

There are several fan sites that make the games they support eve3n more enjoyable. I'd like to help with something for Zombicide. I have registered a domain and also received permission from Guillotine Games.

Here is my only concern - me. I have enough health issues my employer effectively retired me. I do not have the stamina or the ability for creative thought that I had before being struck by my second autoimmune illness. (Crohn's is my first, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is the second.) Don't worry about me though, I am good with the unexpected turn of events and am enjoying the new friends I have met.

As such, I am asking for this to be a community effort. To get this rolling, what should the site include?
- I would like to see a Zombicide Wiki.
- A way to post up scenarios and have them rated by registered users.
- A forum with sections for
- * Rules questions,
- * Painting tips
- * Show off painted minis
- * Discussing
- * +scenario building,
- * +character creation,
- * + ~finding, converting minis for created characters.
- * +custom zombies,
- * +other things that are using the creative backbone of this game.
- * Tactics for scenarios

What would you like to see and how could you help bring this to be?

I've been planning a painting series for Zombicide as well as some tactics and gameplay vids. I can surely provide some content and having a specific target would give me the motivation to churn the stuff out at a more rapid rate. Just say the word and I'll be happy to supply some help in those areas.

Most of fan sites focus on only one aspect you talk, and quickly they forgot the game they are based on, making a diferent game
what i think is more important for a fan zombicide community is:

- I would like to see a Zombicide Wiki.
Who is who in Zombicide Universe and they counterpart in our universe xD Some of them have very controversial... Who is Josh? per example

- A way to post up scenarios and have them rated by registered users.
Costum scenarios have to be filtered, because without they usually became more dificult than zombicide.
