Looking for suggestions for mounted wolf or bear minis

So I have this conversion I would like to do. I want to swap out the puny looking ponies that the Khador Outriders ride for something better looking. I saw that someone used GW Space Wolf Thunderwolfs for a conversion, and it looked rather nice. I would have to spend $100 to buy the 2 kits to get the 5 wolves I need though. I just can't financially justify doing that though. Thinking about it a bit more, I don't really want wolves. (Although they would look way better then those ponies.) I really would like to have them riding bears! I know I've seen some before, but for the life of me I can't remember where I saw them. If someone has any better recommendations, I would love to hear them.

for bears: there was a 3rd party manufacturer, that I don't remember and there are the scibor bears.
Financially the bears from scibor won't work out either, but they look good imho. (some bears from him: http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?art=1430 , 25euro/piece, 5 = 125 euro cca 150$ ), there are also some with dwarves and 'celtic marines'.

I saw the Scibor bear. While they look awesome, but they are a bit pricey. The rider legs are also molded onto the bear, so I would have to remove them. That's only a minor problem, but I don't think the bear would not scale well with the Outriders either way.

I've had bad luck with Reaper minis. They tend to scale a bit smaller then Warmachine models. That and most Reaper minis tend to be 1 piece. I might have to track down that 1st one though. Urg, it's going to be a pain to grind that rider off of the bear though.

That D&D direbear looking promising. I might have to find one to how it scales to the Outriders.

That Kraan one looks a bit to much for what I was trying to find. Plus the price would be a bit much for 5 of them.

I love the model, but it's a bit larger then what I would like.

They're wolves, not bears, but from the looks of it, they look promising. Plus they are sold in sets of 5. Hmm......

Have a google for Mantics Dwarf Brock Riders. Dwarfs on badgers!

Not at retail yet but some Kickstarter product will be at the auction house
