Really?! This banner ad? Really?!

I try not to complain or instigate and it's probably just my flu meds talking, but I saw the banner ad below and felt... I don't know, but I felt it was worth a post. I just saw some folks digging on a new mini co and their minis as pandering to the typical painter/gamer stereotypes. I get it - they were racy and clearly had a very specific audience in mind. However, this banner ad? Really?! ~sigh~ :disapointed:

I'm just sayin' we can't come down on a sculptor for pandering to stereotypes when there are banner ads like this in the top right corner of the screen. Am I off base? I don't know. Go on, let me have it... :soldier:

I think there's a niche dating site for everything now. I saw and ad on TV for a site advertising to Farmers... Cause, y'know- when I think of farmers, high tech savvey is the first thing that comes to mind.. Anyways, the site banner ads are usually a mix of things in a genre. I remember in the past we have gotten a few "Adult" ones up and had to be dealt with, so that's what this is to me- kinda of a fluke.

LOL I tend to forget the banner adverts as being a subscriber I don't get them.
But hey, it's not like me pushing 60 and getting bombarded with Viagra adverts. That gets a bit annoying given current circumstances.
On the other hand, living in the Greater Manchester area, Yahoo & BT tend to give me lots of links to Hot Asian/Muslim Chicks Dating sites and of course I only go there to study Ethnic skintone variations.

I've been on geek to geek. It's new so still quite small but it's cool when you can be so open about your geekiness...

Well I think that is outrageous! I mean I'm clearly not a geek! I mean just because I'm a physicist and a fellow of the royal astronomical society and a keen collector of greeco roman coins and paint miniatures and discuss the evolution of western philosophy and my favourite series is the ascent of man!!! How dare they pigeon hole me as a geek! .......................Nerd is the proper term!

hang on. i thought it was N (number of participants in the sample), e (error or variance of the residuals), r (correlation of the variables or Rsquare, the explained variance of the independent variable), D (cohens distance, or the leverage value from the regression coefficient of an outlier).

I just took nerd and made it into statistics, can anyone get nerdier?!
