10 balls WIP

This whole dio reminds me of the first Predator movie. I was looking in the bushes for the Predator. Didn't see him but he may have his camouflage cloak a activated. I swear I heard his death rattle though...

Excellent work, Ten. I think I've told you this before but I aspire to paint with your style. Lovely. Just beautiful work...

That one was epic man. Dio's are a pain in the butt. That's why I am only doing vignettes from now on :p

totally epic! I have to back and reread all your steps. that jungle and the tree are just tremendous!
I think he planted the tree and grew it from a seed with nothing but love and rainbows. Probably hired some mini elves to tend it a night while he slept.

YAY FINISHED! Feels great, doesn't it? :) Props for your perseverance. Diorama looks great, I love the vegetation, fits very well to the miniatures. I just hate this kind of moss in the background, but just my opinion. :D
How long did it take from start to finish?

Thanks all :)

Zab & Digga - I remember when golden demon had two separate categories for dioramas & vignette :)

Crackpot - yes it does feel good! Im not a fan of the that type of moss either but it needed something 'chunky' to fill out the back to give it a deep jungle look. If i had the time and energy I suppose I could of built up the background with the laser cut leaves.
Ive started dreaming of bloody laser cut leaves!! :silly!:

Start to finish?, well Id say 24 hours per mini and around the same for the base so 120 hours. 5 days-dont sound much but divided into 2-3 hours segments = phew! hard to stay focused!

Ha, I know exactly what you are talking about. :D I always need 2-4 months for each bigger project. But you get used to it. Be happy with the small successes inbetween. :)

Well it's in writing and witnessed now, so bring a top hat........No not a monopoly one either!

You could always go Steampunk, top hat goggles and everything else.

Lol lol, Mike I was half way to the monopoly box thinking 'they won't think of that!!'

I'm going to have to bow out, let's face it when I get best of show I don't want to embarrass Sproket when they take our photos lol lol lol. ;)

Well seeing as how EVIL I am I've got something planned now!
MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Cackles manically My plan has come to fruition, ten ball.
Come Saturday, Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid, Be Very, Very Afraid!

Well if they gave out medals for effort I would be getting GOLD! This blasted bug has really impacted on my painting (keep falling to sleep, my boss found me with my head on the keyboard snoring lol)
Feeling a bit better today so through the worst I reckon. Got wargames mini finished and a bit more done on the barbarian. It will be close is I can get him finished for Saturday.

Yeah, the tones & shading look great. A nice mix between stylized and realistic.
