Thanks all

Piggles i have been experimenting with skin colours for some time now. For Urmuth I used GW tallarn flesh with dwarf flesh washed downs with browns then VMC orange (which I love)
The warrior priest bust I changed style completley and used a simple mix of VMC brown sand, shaded with browns / reds then highlighted back by adding VMC ivory to the brown sand, then in places to get a good tan him ive been using a new GW flesh colour that ive forgot the name of which I was impressed with for blending the colours together.

It all depends on what effect your after, like the duelest mini im painting in classic EM style so its GW tallarn flesh with dwarf flesh, scorch browns shades then a progress of highlights with bleach bone, oh and of course a few shades of VMC orange.

Sooooo ...

First thing I look at when Ten Ball does a bust are the eyes because you make them so life like. There is no exception here on this man who is either a mafia hitman or a used car salesman. Of course this is a WIP so I'm sure you're aware of the overpaint on left eye, but besides this it's another example of such life like eyes that I can see his soul. Not really but very good job!!

Been talking to local GW manager, definitely no Gamesday.
GW gaming event centre Warhammer World is having an update so it's intended that possibly a "Golden Deamon" May be held there.
Not holding my breath though.

Lee, lovely work so far. Looking forward to seeing the completed deal at Euro.....(Train Tickets are bought :male-fighter1:)

Oh man, I do not envy painting such an iconic face. I am a huge and long time Clint fan and I tell you, he has a face like a cliff. I think you have too much high light on his upper lip and chin. I think you need to make his cheek bones and right below his eyes look really hard or pinched. So every thing around his eyes is a straight line right to the bridge of nose. My $.02

thanks all :)

I think this must be the first mini Ive ever painted with no metal (TMM or NMM) at all !

Bloodfather - yep i always try and get the eyes as good as possible, if not the whole mini is flawed.

Demi - great description for Clint's face - ' a cliff' :good: the highlights in places look overpowered but i think its just the photos catching the light and making it so, irl they are no so high but saying that I am trying to really over do the contrast, always more contrast! As for his cheeks (making them look hard) I think your overestimating my abilities mate - i just splash the paint on lol :)

How did I not figure this to be Dirty Harry? Used car salesman...lol.

If eyes are like windows to the soul, you 10ball, are the window washer. Or something corny like that...

Cheers all :)

Bloodfather - lol your a silly sausage :)

4 hours more, couldnt sleep :(

Under the eyes were to dark / harsh so ive warm that up but also added a few glazes of blues in places, added some light unshaven tones - i didnt go to far with that, its a real temptation to go over the top when doing an unshaven face.
Blocked in a few colours for the clothes and filter in the hair which im pleased with.
Painting hair is like painting NMM, you have to get the light placement / shine just right or it looks unreal or flat.
