10 balls WIP

Love what you did to his hair. That really did it for me. And I totally agree about hair being like NMM. On my current project, I actually tried to do white hair like SENMM. Though I think I failed at it mostly, I learned a lot
from it. But you really got the "highs" and the glints just right.

Looks great. I'm glad you got to paint some metal after all... even if it's secretly supposed to be hair.

Lee, this new bust is looking so good. Your warrior priest bust is good but I think you've gone to another level with this one. The hair & flesh tones are spot on and beautifully nuanced. I think he maybe looks a bit too dark under the eyes but that is just a nit pick.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this and your (so very many!) other recent projects at Euro.

That looks great (of course). The pattern in the jacket is a real nice touch. Adds some great visual interest to a part of the figure that could have been pretty dull.

Second ever bust, loved painting it. Im going to be painting more & more of this scale in the future, got my mojo back big time with the last few minis.
Im sorry to say the more I move away from painting GW , the more the sparkle has come back to my painting.

Had some trouble with the jacket, its not quit there Andy but cheers for the tips. It had gone past the point of no return.

Love it... the texture on the jacket is simply excellent, then the colt is also a wonderful idea which had a little touch and makes the bust shinier!
OOoohhh Man when you are telling me my progress over the year, look at yours you are reaching some of the best painters at a speed which is quite impressive!

Face and hair looks great, as does the pullover. While the texture on the jacket does the job of creating interest to that surface, I do think it looks a bit heavy. It looks more like wicker than tweed to me. The surface looks shiny and not very soft. Perhaps it's the thickness of the pattern, or it's the contrast... or a combination of the two. I think a subtler texture with slightly thinner lines would have worked better.

Busts are great fun to paint. I have done a couple, but definitely want to paint more of them.
