Great wee pic, great cohesion amongst the squad I love old skool stuff, when i started it was a while later it became new school lol, Jacob R Neilson was winning all the comps. I used to use a fine tip permenant pen in those days for black lining! When citadel paints came out i dumped all my enamels, a fine brush was standard humbrol modellers jobby with half the bristles scissored off, hehe, such fun. Lookin forward to the last 10/100% ps i aint to good wit spellin!?

okay folks while waiting for my display discs to come in to finish up the mob I immediately will start work on a wonderful mini from the island of blood box set. The ray ogre. I will be making this piece with heavy display theme in mind ill be making the base plinth something really outside my comfort zone. Yes something other than an ork lol.

So this will happen every now a d again !!! Ill do a model quickly in a day to get rid of so many models on my desk(fiances orders:/ ) and they will be done also to get rid of some other types of plinths (to get new and better material) again fiances orders . So they won't be perfect as the time I spend on them is alot less than others and btw is the baby on the pike too much ? :0

As a baby daddy I would say the baby on the pike is too much, but I am very biased. A live baby tied to a pike I could go for. What's Lady Blood say? Love the green nodule and the coppery canister on his back. The bright green is working good with the dull green on the bandages.

She just makes "The Face", which every Mother instills at birth in her Daughters.
Of course by now I'm pretty much immune to it and the doghouse is where I'm comfortable painting in.

In all seriousness I love language in all it's complexities and nuances. Using English to elicit a response such as yours is a pleasure.
No doubt AndyG and Ten Ball will be along to let you know that I have a "noticeable" regional accent, just like both Sting and Cheryl Cole have. Do not believe them, I have mollified my accent to allow me to communicate with such poorly refined southerners.

Plus of course I've read so many books in the last 50+ years, which means I have acquired some methods of expression.

OH and don't write off kids, they are chaos incarnate and laughter immeasurable. I have 5 nieces, 3 nephews and 10 great-nieces.

It's amazing being part of this cmon society DR it goes well and wayward beyond mini painting you meet people like yourself that have me feel I've known you for years. It's just gr8 waking up and seeing what your m8s have said about anything it molds friendships again way beyond what one would call close as neighbors next door. And people who read IMHO are the most educated and experienced about all types of worldly issues and those personal nature as well. I can't wait till I get my new I phone wich I believe is a FaceTime command so the moment I get rid of this android piece of garbage I will be able to FaceTime with you DR and no doubt share some painting secrets and more importantly have a few laughs while I try and decipher the British dialect. I'm sure it's going to be a riot. Born and bred myself in New York City that never sleeps I have a Robert deniro accent of my own and I'm sure your going to have your way joking on that as well. Thanks ahain for making cmon not just fountain of wealthfully grand tips and info but also inducting me in the greatest and friendly cmon cyber family I have ever have the pleasure of knowing.

Please I only ask you vote a comment in the technical skill I've applied and not anybody feeling a need to lead a crusade against any issue lending to a personal jihad or crusade against anything they might misconstrue. I love kids and babies too its just something I put in to show the road to mordheim doesn't discrinate against any man, woman , child chaos and malevolence are showed here and how y forgiving the world of mordheim is and can be. There is nothing comedic , funny or happy about evil rat giants mutated by a chaotic rock nor is there any relent in what these truly evil beings would and would not do to get their paws on it.

Wow this one came out great bro! The base is a pure 10, that's for certain. Very creative job and you very much used the base to the fullest extent of its purpose-that is, to establish the setting, and to make the miniature look at home in this setting. A rat ogre by itself is a perverse mutation. Nature's abhorrent reject. So the baby too fits this image, because it shows death and birth (life) as one, which is also against the natural order of things. On the technical side of things, the ground looks very natural and real. Like it. And the shield/skull and such gave an interesting spot color. The rat ogre himself is very well executed. Skin came out great. I'd personally go with a bit more contrast but I know this to be your style. I marvel at the speed with which you paint such high quality minis.

Kay folks here's what I decided to get my brush control better what I do is often work on smaller scaled models . Like malifaux etc. my objective is simple if you can blend and have subtle gradations and intricate details painted at a high standard on a smaller surface area aka a small mini then you'll be that much better on the larger areas so the " scales of justice" is just that. From the lady justice faction I've just received a box of malifaux minis. Now if you ask me if there is a co that can rival the sculpting of fine minis of GW malifaux is it.
