concept art for a miniature idea of mine

Hey, so I drew up some concept art a little while ago for a miniature idea, it's basically a feral more humanoid looking type orc shaman. Not the typically hunched over ape looking GW type orc. I think in some lores orcs are related to elves or something (don't quote me) but they do tend to get depicted with the same ears. Anyways, I wanted him to look really dark and savage, not some chartooney thing with a sense of humour.

Here it is, the line drawing and then the painted version: The final is pretty high res I almost wasted a little too much time on the detail, but that's probably my miniature painting background getting the best of me lol.

Anyways, about me sculpting - I'm still a noob at that but I have been wanting to really get into sculpting before I head off to game dev school (It's my goal to be a character artist) and sculpting skills are very transferable. Currently I'm finishing up marketing and working fulltime so the little bit of time I have in the mornings is spent on painting or going to the gym. Sculpting is on the list though. If I were ab.e to sculpt this guy I would aim for something larger than 28mm as I find humans are never sculpted as well in the smaller ranges because their proportions means the face will be so small.
