Voice of dissent: I Disagree. I see where you are going with the purple...

Yeah, I'm definitely struggling with the cloth. Could benefit from reduced intensity of color, perhaps? I don't know, the more I look at it the less certain I am that yellow-purple is the way to go. I think the yellow-brown highlights are throwing me off--I like 'em against the skin but not so much against the armor. Suggestions are most welcome.

Boubi, thank you! I'll likely try that before scrapping the current cloth scheme.

Crystella, thank you!

Demi, ye, I think so. They were gonna be blackish metal, but I think the green might be more interesting.

Zab, if only it were his base! That'd be sort of funny, actually. Like he just fricked up a library and is standing around just hoping someone'll give him crap for it.

Oh, I think Zab is saying to do the purple robes like the purple on the librarian base. That is good thinking.

Growing up I learned to speak Canadian watching Much Music, SCTV, and the incredible documentary 'Strange Brew'. It has really brought a bounty of richness to my life and my appreciation of language, eh?

Ah! Redder brown, cooler purple, paler highlights. Just might try that.

Fiddlesticks, does this mean I've been misinterpreting everything Zab's ever said due to an unrecognized language barrier? This is worse than when I found out "quite" means something different to British people...

I have no idea what you are talking aboot with your thick 'Merican accents :p On that note, we have a clothing company here called "Roots" I would suggest not ever wearing one of their branded sweaters to Australia unless you want some weird looks and very forward offers of intimacy o_O

Sigmar, just some silliness over the fact that I have a friend in London who tends to say "quite" when he means "kinda"(instead of "very" like I'm used to). Linguistic anarchy, I tell you. But I suppose the quirks of one dude *might* not define the usage for the rest of the nation :p

Nope we are all quite quirky over here, depends on which part you are in.

Points for accuracy, Skel. I live in a state of "????!"

More bits on Booksy (having a hell of a time with pictures of this mini):

And here's a the start of something that currently looks suspiciously like nothing:

I think the red background is hurting your 'brarian pick. I think the big base sort of looks like a shattered road. It a little hard to tell if the big chunks are flat or not on the photo.

Alriiiighhht. After a crazy week (had my BFA show and reception at the beginning and a Chicago bachelorette party at the end), minis have my full attention again. Looks like I'll only have three (maaayybee four) entries for CB--Archivist, Ish, the Nomads from Infinity's Operation Ice Storm box, and possibly a three-person Confrontation unit.

Little bit off-topic, but here's what's been keeping me busy:

Next update will be actual pictures of minis!
