well first impression of these paints is, there incredible. I haven't painted onto a non-pours surface yet but on the pallet there smooth, the paints mix really well and they don't separate like other brands when mixed, I've yet to make glazes out of them yet or put them through my airbrush.

the colours are very bright and intense but so much better than the other brands I use. and when they dry they dont appear to dry a different shade and all dry with the same finish.

Yeah fun times are over for me now, I am glad I nailed the necron just before i go back to work, back to my normal schedule with not so much time to paint.

Job hunting sucks, I remember when my wife was freelancer. hang in there bro.

I feel your pain. A big blue and white Telecom bought the company I work for 3 yrs ago here in Canada. Layoffs pretty much every year. The threat of that can really suck the desire to paint out of you. I have been looking for quite a while but no joy. I really want to leave on my terms. I hope the best for you, try to use painting as therapy and don't let the bastards get you down

yeah it sure can, but the only way is up right and it sucks not have anything secure looming over your head I feel for everybody in that situation its effing horrid. I managed to build and prime 20 wyches this eve, only 5 mandrakes after these 20 wyches and I can hand the whole lot back to my customer for some cash injection

well job hunting is the worst.

anyways tis what I've been doing with my painting, just working on this DE commission lot, but with whats happening at work looming over my head I've been struggling to motivate myself to paint really but I do have paying customers so I cant let them down,

now the main basecoat is done I'll be working on them in units of 5 for the detail painting and the flesh work

and I've got till the end of the month to finish my lizard man banner dude, but he cant wait untill I've got the DE done

Hope you get the job dude, I am still looking to move from where I am now so yeah I am looking LOL Got to sent those resume. I am packing the necron tonight or tomorrow so if your lucky with mail should not take so long maybe next week end. You think this is good necron wait till you see the next, I learned quite a bit with this one. One day you'll able to paint just for you and that day my friend I wish i still be there to chat and share with you bro. Take it easy man together we stand me you and John are real passionate and we are here to support each other in painting and life thing, of course ther is limits what we can but just get cheered up by my bros goes a long way let me tell you.
