For Awaken Realms

AR,

I love your work. I really do. It is always pro level stuff and I really like to look at it and comment when I can. But please, you need to be posting this stuff elsewhere. If I am wrong with this statement, I apologize in advance, but I think you need to be in the "Discuss Submissions" section, or maybe WIP forums. This forum is for how-tos and General painting advice, not for some pro painting group to show their awesomeness. Again, please don't take this as being rude, I am sure it is an honest mistake on your behalf. I am a bit surprised that no moderators have said anything :)

I'd just like to add a second voice to this, seeing as they just put up another post. You guys at Awaken Realms really do great work, but this is a Q&A/Help/Tutorial section of the forum and all you're doing is cluttering up this section for those looking for help. I know you guys do tutorials, so maybe just post armies that have tutorials associated with them so if someone likes what they see, they can try it themselves.

I think they are a very good Army/Airbrush painting studio, but I've not seen individual pieces which shows any Passion for painting.
I'd definitely recommend them for some looking for a quick Army, based on the work that I've seen.

Dear Bloodfather;)

Sorry for any inconvenience from our side, we found the choosing of right section of the forum quite puzzling, we've posted several posts in "Painting & conversions" and "Discuss Submission" sections, and in both cases we had feedback that the section is not right.;) I believe personally that "Discuss Submission" is a better section - and I'll be posting from now on only in that section

Again, we were not trying to do break any rules, it was just an effect of confusion.

And thank you for your notice;)

Thanks friend! I assure you that Discuss Submissions is technically the right place for finished projects. However, I don't think it would be improper of you to use the Work-in-progress threads for advice. The WIP forum is much more active than most other forums, and you'll gain a large following in there.

Thank you AR for your cooperation and understanding.

Thank you sincerely BloodFather for your helpful advice, it is really a great feedback - we'll try to follow it with further submissions! We're mostly posting our finished project's photos due to lack of time between actual painting all of the projects (and not always WIP shots are showing what the models will look like when they'll be finished), but with bigger or more special projects the WIP shots may be indeed a great way of showing how we're progressing from start to finish (actually we've done this before with our Squiggoth diorama - http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/showthread.php?59752-Work-in-progress-Ork-Squiggoth-diorama).

I think they are a very good Army/Airbrush painting studio, but I've not seen individual pieces which shows any Passion for painting.

Dragonsreach, indeed we're painting quite a lot of armies, but we're as open to paint individual pieces as big armies. :) I may show as examples the two models (and there are more of them in our gallery:) )

And also painting an army is more time-consuming as well, not always allowing to go for such standards of painting. It's a commission painting thing, you have to work within a time limit.;)

Well I'd have to say Awaken Realms, after viewing those two pieces, you guys have a deep deep passion for painting. I could tell by your armies that if you took the time on a single figure that it would be among the best in the hobby. They are both just levels above amazing. As a side note, the Knight Lancer is at 8.9 and that is complete garbage. Just noticed that there has only been 28 votes, but still this is absolutely ridiculous. This should be rated in the Top Ten of this year's7 minis. The Tzeentch guy should be Top Ten of 2014 too.

What should also be noted is the line of figures you guys are behind. Haven't seen many updates lately tho

Whoa, so much generous words here, many, many thanks - we're always trying to do what we can do best in order to bring the best quality of work we're assigned for, from singular models to big armies;) Thank you for finding our work worthy of your praise.

And as for the Edge miniature line - our Kickstarter had ended some time ago and now we're going to deliver all of the models we were able to create to all of those who believed in us. We're going to run a special mailing soon for all The Edge-related, so if you (and anybody else:) ) is interested, feel free to subscribe. I may leak a word that we're currently close to complete the Chapter model set - we're going to make one faction after other. Soon we'll be spilling more words;)

I wish my painting lacked enough passion to look like this! Stunning!
