After several months of forum discussions (especially here at CMON), testing and formula twitching, we have managed to launch the brand new line of paints that we have promised you.

A paint line that offers quality and affordability at the same time.

Each bottle of paint is carefully filled with the non toxic, hand-mixed paint, formulated specifically for miniature painting and hobby applications.

Our paints are unique and offer smooth finish (no graining EVER), high durability, simple naming and come in no nonsense packaging/labeling (child-safe dropper bottle with a transparent label).

Each paint has a specific opacity level (check out the colourchart) so you know if the paint you are buying can be used as a base, layer or even for shadowing (transparent paints).
Then again, who are we to tell how to use your paints? Forget this. Use them however you like. We just tell you how opaque or not the paints are.

Do you run a blog or a website for wargaming? You can earn some cash by becoming an affiliate of us.

Please feel free to register an account with our webshop and take advantage of the special CMON 5% discount ( to receive discount use code: CMON ). The first 5 orders from CMON users will receive 10% discount ( to receive discount use code: CMON10 ).

Ordered! Those 10% codes had gone fast! Really looking forward to getting these, what I saw from the sample was great, but the set simply did not contain a lot of colors I had use for at the moment. The ones I've ordered now should see more use. :)

I'm definitely going to get some as well to see how they differ from the beta test plus you can never have to much paint, especially not to much good paint :).

Edit: I hope you don't mind, but I put a post about the launched on Wamp and my blog.

Can't wait to get some more of these. Good luck with product line! I also singed up for the affiliate thing, and I'll promote the paints on my blog and facebook page.

I've already added you to my recommended retailers list on my blog. I'll be doing a few posts later this summer reviewing the paints and showing off some minis painted with them. Can't wait to run out of other colors ;)

Thank you for supporting! Now we have 92 colours and 14 transparent colours. Metallics, glazes and inks will follow soon (2-3 months or so).

Thank you for your ongoing support. Also thank you for letting others know about it.

Lots of praise here, and good prices. Will definitely have to get some soon.

Thank you a lot.

A quick question for you, I signed up on the affiliate page but I'm not entirely sure on what to do next to get a working link?

A quick question for you, I signed up on the affiliate page but I'm not entirely sure on what to do next to get a working link?

i think you need to log into your affiliate account: http://www.warcolours.com/index.php?route=affiliate/login

then under 'MY Tracking Information' click the 'Custom Affiliate Tracking Code'

now you need to select the warcolours item you want to advertise at the 'tracking link generator' - just start typing the name of the product and options will appear. once you click on the product, a tracking link will appear below. the link is what you need to use when advertising on your site. you say for example visit warcolours.com and for hyperlink you add the link you have generated.

if you have a look at the link you will see that your unique tracking code, appears at the end of the link. this is how the referrals are tracked.

if you need further help, let me know

great review. I'm about to renew a ton of paints as I'm running low on multiple colours. I normally use scale75 but I might order a starter set and see how they go

Nice review thanks. Quick comment on the shipping - I ordered these and live in south africa which is usually a real pain to get items shipped to. Arrived in about 10 days which is amazing!! While I did enjoy minx studios comments (I really thought they were being brutally honest rather than nasty) on these, I think there is definitely a place for new paints and these seem to be great. Still fiddling with scale 75 (which for some reason I've battled with more than most) but these are easier to get to grips with if you're a long term citadel or vallejo fan.
Very nice job, can't believe this is from an individual, I'm probably going to have to get all of these too....

Oh, one other thing. A replacement match for snakebite leather! I know there have been requests (yes BK I'm looking at you) but if there is any way with your skills you can manage this please could we try for a colour matching good old snakebite leather. Please please

I have promised a snakebite leather since day 1 of the forum discussions. I did not forget about it. At the moment the closer colour is ochre 5 but it is not an exact match (it is a bit lighter). I am hoping that in a few weeks (or couple of months) I will be able to produce an exact match (what will probably be ochre 6) and offer it to you guys. At the moment I am trying to get the production stable so I will not run out of stock on specific colours.

I am really grateful for all the attention and support that warcolours have been receiving by the way!

I got my beta metal colour today. Had a brief go with it. Not as pigment heavy as I like ( I'm a Scale75 user) but it's a lovely bright colour which I will use as a highlight.

Just got mine, did some playing around. These paints are great. They dry very matte, thin down well, have a good consistency (not dissimilar to a thinner P3 paint), have very fine pigment particles, and have very vibrant, saturated colors. Best part? They're cheap as! Less than 2 USD for 15 mL of paint is far and away one of the best deals out there. I'm not going to go out and replace all my paints with these, but if there's a color missing in my drawers of paint, Warcolours is definitely going to be high on my list of manufacturers of replacement colors.

Quick question for anyone from the States who have ordered these. About how long did they take to arrive after they were shipped? Mine were mailed about a week ago (yes I know that it is still relatively early since they are coming from Cyprus) and I am getting impatient for them to arrive. I really should have chosen a different shipping than the basic level. Thanks for any info
