Great cold, alien feel to it. It's looking fantastic and these final details are really making it sing! Good to see your newest stuff again.

Hahahahahhahahahahhahah..... What you don't know is you just entered the tunnel, next stop retirement!

Sionid that skin is looking awsome, looks so real. Glad you can settle for a while now.

Don't I know it. Gone is that four-year period of school-provided purpose and direction, now comes the hard stuff...and thank you! Getting to know the area a little, but 90F+ daily and swimmable humidity makes the outside world so much less appealing. But there's nifty stuff. Went to one of the local game stores today, Game Nite. It was so big!

Zab, it's #@%&ing purple and green again. Why didn't you stop me. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE STOP ME. I wasn't going do it and then I did it without realizing -_- at least no Bugman's this time...

Krule, matching your nails to your current project is the first and most important of the eighty-four rules of figure-painting fashion.

Digga, it's just a background of the default female Inquisitor from Dragon Age Inquisition. I have it rotating between all the companions, but Cole is my favorite :D

Well what makes your bust so compelling is that, for one, it's not just anther barbarian or soldier, etc....it is bizarre, and I daresay the closest thing to avant-garde in the bust painting department. I actually like some of your colors that are out of balance a bit. The disruption to the harmony somehow lends itself to the credibility of the figure, which is that of an alien and bizarre living construct. On areas where it counts, however, like the skin, you are maintaining a reliable pallet that builds familiarity and understanding.

In other words, being different makes this figure gnarly.

I must learn the other eighty-three rules of figure-painting fashion...and i don't know that i would be able to post minis anymore if they matched my nails ;)

BFoK, I haven't had a critique that thorough since my last in-class one! Thank you for putting the time into it. The figure itself is just damn cool and required almost no cleanup, I'd recommend it to anybody. Having this much space to work on a face--and not even a whole one!--has been really interesting.

John, thank you! Planning on taking a bunch of classes next year?

Started my mobile project last night, something to carry around with me to work on while we're at the game store and whatnot. Technically I started it a couple of years ago, back when I picked it up at my first GenCon (which explains why I assembled everything already. Dumb). I'm thinking of making him a nice twisty tree to balance him out and fill some of that base space.
