WOW that monster thing is already awesome, those eyes full of live and hate! And the other textures too (skin, metals) are fantastic, and with your bloody/fleshy/rusted characteristic style.... I am starting to believe that you have a special mix of brown/beige of your own (BAMbrown) , I have detected it in many of your minis ;)

Oistene's crew is supreme, will be the envy of the other players!! I am not sure if I would be able to actually play with them... Will probably dip them in a hundred coats of varnish before playing!

It will not be without a certain worry, that's for sure! But they are for playing, so play they will... not sure if the locals are worthy being near the work of the master though. :D

The beast for CB looks fab as well, BAM! As the others, I am amazed how fast you cranked it out.

I loved that film.......to be fair I still do
Dark crystal is one of my old fantasy favourite films, alongside Willow, Ladyhawk and Labirynth!

And now that you mention it, I share your thoughts about it ^^

@oistene
I can picture you: You fool! don't dare to touch that mini! xD xD

TThanks oist,btw feel free to play as much as you like I've hit them with two types of varnish1) my famous semi gloss from testers it darkens colors and gives a bit of a shine but then to take out most of that shine and protect it against US rays and prevent color change I've then use sprayed on krypton satin finish with us protection...there is no way in asgard that these cannot withstand years of handling.;)

Thanks eps!!! So so muchos!!! Yeah the tones I ended up with we're so different from what I've set out to try and achieve just kept going back and fourth as it took several attempts to create a fun shied result I was happy with I believe I went back and fourth highlighting glazing blending layering etc around 9 diff times. Finally I achieved one of the greatest contrasts I've ever allowed myself to do. The book by jeremie Leo showing hints like highlights only make affect in the presence of shadows so this is what made me think and consider very stark contrasts as I've never wanted to do anything like that but I'm starting to see the diff when they're pushed that extreme. Very diff from my subtle awareness style of old but I really am happy with the last few models that I've displayed this principle on!!! NUTSO?!!

Seriously, BAM? You've already done all that on the sorcerer figure? I haven't even gotten around to replying to your email about receiving the figure and you've already painted 90% of it!

This could be the best I've seen from you. I love the skin tones, they're fantastic. Great for a demon. The bit of blood and cuts is just enough to make it interesting without going overboard. And the red on the armor is beautiful. By the way, I'm usually with you on preferring the dark backgrounds (um, have you seen any of my photos?), but in this case go with the light one. The dark background causes the photo to be a bit overexposed and makes it harder for us to see the wonderful job you did with the skin. I'm always playing with my camera settings for just that reason.

YYeah white from now on I promise I actually threw the background black one I there to piss my girl off I thought it was funny .....she did not...so before me and Sammy become roommates in the doghouse I figured no more fun andgames..thanks david so so much for really making me happy that you can tell I've gotten a bit of an increase from Jérémie book.I love it and thanks for letting me in on the best painting tutorials from mr teboul book.I so appreciate you also guiding me when my reading comprehension goes south.it wasn't the easiest read but you cleared up for me something that increased my paintjng once you clarified it.thank you david immerasuably.
