Hi CMoN

I am very sorry, but I have bad news.


Borek - our sculptor and author of vignette "In the storm of Frartricidal War" - is in the hospital just now - he is sufferring of kidneys stones and colics- nothing extremely serious, but very painful. Probably, he should stay in the hospital for two-three days. So, the vignette and other sculpting activities have to wait for a while. As I found out now, these problems are also the reason, why Borek was late with the vignette. He wanted to finish this vignette all costs, but he was not able to do it.


We hope, he will be soon back and we shall overcome all these problems. We would like to continue according to our original plan (today, we bring you the latest silhouette of newly added vignette), the most of our activities are prepared - so, we hope, we could be able to show you our vignette on Wednesday or during Thursday at the latest. We can not anticipate for thi​​s time. We would like to ask you for your patience and understanding.

 Fateful Combat

The fight of Gartenian Sorthar, the hero of Argerra, with Rantgrain, the Dark Kworgs assassin.

Many songs and poems have been written about this legendary fight. The duel, which could stop every fight all around the land, because the focus of every warrior was concentrated on this event. One of the three Argerrians, who survived, brought the news about this huge duel to his people. The story about the death of their hero Gartenian and general Faertenien too, became the tool of propaganda for the next Kworgs campaign and the power of the Argerra Kworgs revenge, which, as you suspect, did not come true and died with the king of Argerra in the huge and scary battle of Kurchitar.

Gartenian was a great warrior and champion.All the Kworgs knew his deeds very well. His reputation extended far beyond the boundaries of the Argerra. Also the Farseas, the Elves, the people and another nations showed respect to his name.

Rantgrain, his enemy in this duel, was also very famous warrior with the negative reputation. He was especially the assassin and the spy, who killed many famous warriors in many battles. He used all the possible tools to meet his mission.

Both men met once already It was seventy years ago before the Irrnon-Sol Terrat events. Those days, at the battle of Astirinaian pillars, Rantgrain killed the commander of argerrian army, Aroentan, to meet at the end with Gartenian, who became the new commander of the army and wanted to revenge the death of his general. But that fight ended inconclusively, as the whole battle too.

It was the fate, by Irrnon - Sol Terrat they met together again. But this time, Gartenian fought his last fight. And our last vignette shows just this duel.

That's no good about Borek , that stuffs painfull.
he must be cleaning his tools with his mouth as painters clean there brushes ...when they get his stones out the doctor will not understand why they are green , green stuff kidney stones...poor bugger

Those stones would be a gray rather (from the Magic Sculp) ... but apparently are yellow :p

Thanks for your understanding. Good News. Borek is doing better, and on Friday or Saturday hopefully be able to return to work. Thanks to this we will publish Competitive vignette "In the storm of Fratricidal War" sometime during the weekend. And do not forget, on Monday begins the competition :) (rules here)

Borek tries hard, as his state of health allows. Not ok, but at least at home, and so can a work. Unless vignette ready to start, we bring a recent photo at the start of the competition and during the competition will be finished

This is officially launch of our first competition.

Task: Think of a name for the weapon held in the right hand by the magic lantern bearer (the photo below).

Historical Background of Weapon

This double-blade ancient weapon is used by kworgs for a very long time - since the first Illada wars – the Shadow Wars. It represents the two flames of fire built against each other (two blades) and initially, at the time of its inception. It has been a weapon of fiery Kworg guard. In the following millennia it have become a prolific weapon.

It was quite difficult to control it (especially because of the ancient Kworgs primarily worn decorative jewelery (crests) on the backs. They were called ‘Back-gems’ or ‘Back-crests’. These gems were quite light but usually large and complained efficient handling of the weapons.

Despite of this the Kworgs acquired great skill and control of this two-sided sword and become true masters. Later, however, their arsenal, including this weapon, has disappeared as Kworgs slowly took over customs and style of life of the humans.

During the Great War for the black rose their armor and weapons still carried elements of beauty and magnificence of the former Kworg noble-minded race but it was just a dim reflection of the great glory and splendor of past years. The split in their own ranks and their civil war have pushed Kworgs onto more pragmatic way and so this once famous war weapon have appeared only very rarely during the War for Kenakarra rose.

So much for the historical background of this weapon. We are already looking forward to the names you create for this weapon.

Extract from the rules

By the time the competition starts (August 31, 2015 08:30 PM CEST) will be publish a simple task. We can tell only you will have think out name of certain subject title that will be introduced. This name should be in any imaginary and non-existent fantasy language so you can form it absolutely free. You just should reflect the Illada fantastic world where our stories take place. You will also have to connect your new word with the race you believe uses the word. The jury will put the accent especially on imitativness and also whether the name fits
the specified object and the breed chosen by author.

The competition task remains the same throughout all the competition and do not change.

Your answers (imagined name + fantasy race) must be send to our mail Info@arkhareon-miniatures.com. Do not forget to join your name or nickname under which you perform, for example, on your favorite forum or blog. If they are missing in the mail response (invented name + fantasy race) and / or your name / nick, your mail will be included in the selection jury evaluated answers.

Your contacts will not be assigned to any third party and are just for needs of Arkhareon Miniatures.

Each competitor may submit only one answer. The promoter / organizer of the competition reserves the priviledge to exclude any competitor who do not play fair or breaks the rules.

There are five days to send your competition mail. The competition starts on 31st August 2015 08:30 PM CEST and the deadline is on 5th September 2015 at 08:30 PM CEST. After this date and time no competition mails will be included in the selection jury evaluated answers.
After the deadline our three-member jury composed of Daniela Bartosova (Owner of Arkhareon Miniatures), Boris Kaderka - Borek (Sculptor, Illada world creator) and Martin Škořepa - Lopee (Painter, sculptor) will choose the best twenty-five sent names.

25 selected winners will receive the vignette "In the storm of Fratricidal War".

Each winner will be informed about the winning and asked for her/his mailing address where the prize should be dispatched to.

Vignette Historical Background

Today we uncover history shrouded with millennia in front of you. Yes millennia.

More than 15 thousand years before the launch out of the Great war for the Black rose had broken out great Kworg rebellion which resulted in a long fratricidal conflict. It had divided their nation once for all at the end. This war had given birth to a new realm of renegades who had been called the Dark Kworgs. More about this conflict can be found here.

Our vignette "In the Storm of Fratricidal War" introduces you to the scene of the first fighting in Riadenia - the Kworg capital.

The first figure is the officer from the king's personal guard - the Aldeasts. This warrior was honored to carry the magic lantern, one of the three lanterns owned by Kworgs. These lanterns served not only as supreme royal guidons but also had great power - while the soldiers carrying the lanterns, saw their lights like a blazing flame throwing around pleasant glow, enemies were dazzled by bright lights of the lanterns. It was impossible to look at.

The second of the figures is figure of king Abration in his in his majestic armor with stylized wings on his back. He participated in the fighting personally and led his troops against the rebels.

Hi CMoN Paladins :)

Today we have a little surprise not only for future winners of our competition but also for all those who will buy our vignette ‘In the Storm of Fratricidal War’ in our campaign or later in our e-shop. If some of you were wondering why there is a blank space between the king and the holder of the magic lantern, here's the answer. This empty space is filled in with the figure of dead rebel and this figure completes the entire composition of the vignette. Winners of the contest receive this figure automatically. In the Indiegogo campaign this figure will be available as one of the first freebie stretch goals.


Dead rebel is secret for this time, but not for long...:)




End of the competition will come soon. So take the opportunity to get our vignette with a complementary figure.
