Thanks all.
Another finished. Andy suggested a little more moss etc to break up the grey. I followed Sprokets technique that he has used on the nurgle boat. Bi-carb mixed a little matt medium and a light camo green, then shaded. The slight raised textured effect gives a more realistic to-scale look to the moss imo.

Sorry Ten but in my eyes the green on the rocks need to be differentiated from the ork, maybe darker or add a yellow to it to make it look mossy. Just on the sand style grass not the little tuft, there is different types of grass there and they're all the same colour.
Please don't shank me

Thanks :)
Terra - I was trying to avoid a patchwork quilt of greens happening so chose a similar shade to the orc . On saying that after looking at the photo I see your point and will have a mess with a few shades :)

I like the look of the additional vegetation And in keeping with your thought of the greens harmonizing with the orcs skin, how about a couple dead bushes that harmonize with the slayers hair and/or skin?

Like what you've done Dave can you, being a computer geek add some deadness on the orks side to match the Dwarf like Krule said . See what it looks like ?

Ten: You've set the standard, in my eyes, for rocky outcroppings. It has such a powerful, fantasy look that looks dreamy in a way. I'll have to go back and see how you did it again, as I think I remember a mini-tut, or at least an explanation about ten pages back. Should be damn proud.

Great looking, duel. I love the movement of the piece. Only thing I'd say is it could use a tree.

The armor on the space marine is excellent as well.
